How does sharing your testimony affect the Body of Christ? I am the founder and pastor of Pastor B's Ministry. ( Log Out /  So, let’s see what’s going to come forth from today’s message on “Barak”. Satan, however, constantly tries to divide God's people. It’s hard to write that there will  be many, many people who will leave this world for the final time in prideful defiance to God thinking that all this stuff us Jesus Freaks talk about as far as God, Heaven, the devil, and hell are not real…but one day all these things are going to be very real to them…and when they are there…it will be too late because they will never…ever get the chance to leave there. The NIV translators rendered barak to mean, “praise” while in Hebrew it is “bless.” Vine’s Dictionary adds it is – to kneel, bless, be blessed, or curse. • “Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.” –Psalm 63:4, • “Enter…into His courts with praise.

I am saying that it would be wise of us to all make sure that before that day comes where we stand before the Lord…to make sure that the first time we bow to Him as Lord isn’t on that day. Did he feel close to the Lord or was the Lord a distant observer in his life? 1. What does it mean to “praise the Lord at all times”? Praise in the Psalms – Barak. You might want to read about the beasts that do nothing else than praise God all day every day…and they have been doing it for all of eternity. I am also the author of the book 7 Hebrew Words for Praise. He deserves us to bow in adoration to Him…and I should also point out that the Bible says one day ever knee will bow and ever tongue will confess Jesus Christ as Lord. Take some time today to literally kneel before God and humbly offer yourself once more as His willing servant.

I wonder if at that moment they will tell God that He doesn’t exist. There’s no way to measure eternity because it doesn’t begin or end, and it’s not in any way measurable by the time restraints we have. Christlike Ministries NWA I don’t know if you know this…but forever is a long time, friends.

Just as out stretched hands are a sign of surrender to the Lordship of God…so too is the kneeling before Him. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. Make sure you say it out loud, and most importantly believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Towdah means to praise with an outstretched hand in agreement with what has already been done or what will be done in the future and is connected to the concept of a “sacrifice of praise.”

This Hebrew word for praise (pronounced baw-rak’), refers to making an action of thanksgiving (a verb) rather than a thing to be given or created.

I liked that it started and ended with “Bless the Lord, O my soul.” Taking that thought a step farther I only found two psalms that begin and end with that phrase, 103 and 104. Praise as adoration (from barak). and from religion to reality.

Change ), You are commenting using your Twitter account. For 20 long years, the nation of Israel has suffered in the hands of Jabin, King of Canaan in Hazor. I know that messages that include the scope of eternity can some times be very difficult to read…they’re hard to write.

There are several that begin and end with “hãlal” or Hallelu Yah or as we say in English – Hallelujah! There is no escape, no way to get out, or purgatory or anything like that. Deborah, the judge of Israel, summoned Barak to lead the Israelite army against the army of Jabin. It’s hard to think about the fact that millions…if not billions of people are going to be satisfied with the same death penalty that was only really meant for the devil and his angels.

Anyways, as we work to wrap up this series with the last couple of words…let me just encourage you one more time to take these messages to heart. Bearing with the Scrupulous – from Romans 15:1-3, A Travesty of Justice Is Before Us — Voter Fraud, The Beginning Of The End Of America – By Voter Fraud, Christian Can Rejoice Even When Facing Bad News. 4  So I will bless Thee (barak) as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Thy name. But what pulled me into this study was the phrase – “Praise the Lord, O my soul.” KJV vs. NIV and Hebrew vs. English has always been a reason for me to study and Psalm 103 continues this tradition. The “angels” or messengers seem to be a specific group of created beings while the “heavenly host” is the rest of God’s army. Friends, let me say this as lovingly as I possibly can.

The Lord bless (barak) you and keep you; Numbers 6:24. Amen and Amen. The main purpose of barak is to bless the Lord. He was descended from the tribe of Naphtali. That’s not really a suggestion, friends.
