I have experimented with this, and I mostly just use it for pancakes, it seems to be quite sweet, so I don't have maple syrup with pancakes, but almond butter and banana seems to be the best combination I have come up with so far. Not as easy to use for cakes as I'd hoped they turn out dry and crumbly/crunchie not sponge. I might try making some with flaxseed replacer (another possible vegan baking substitute for eggs) to see if they impart more of a golden tone than Orgran.
